The unique steel tube design provides a substantial platform for mounting the blower and motor. With a heavy wall thickness and internal gussets, the tube reduces shell ring and won’t twist, bend or flex.
The blower’s harmful pulsation energy is virtually eliminated by our exclusive pulsation control design. Inside the tube a combination of reactive and absorptive components provide superior noise reduction with minimum pressure drop.
The low profile design is compact, easy to lift or move, and extremely rugged, suited for the most demanding installations.
The SB series is a family of PD blower packages with pressures to 15 PSI. For each model, proper blower selection is made by carefully considering bearing life, % of max. pressure, speed, temperature rise, and noise level.
Motor nameplate HP is not exceeded even at relief valve settings. This leaves a 15% service factor for extra safety. All inlet and discharge losses of the filter, silencers and check valves are factored in the performance calculations.
Belt drives are designed for maximum belt life and minimum bearing load, with a service factor of 150 to 200 % used.
Attention to detail is evident when you look at the SB Series standard features. These include an air filter service gauge, lubricant level gauge, and synthetic gear lubricant suitable for all operating conditions.
