The classic “Table Top” design features a heavy duty structural steel frame which provides a ridgid mounting platform for the blower, motor and drive.
Inlet and discharge silencers reduce the noise and pulsation energy generated by the blower. Silencers are positioned as close to the blower connections as possible to maximize their effectiveness. A number of options are available to “customize” the package for your application.
The TT series is a family of PD blower packages from 15 HP to 300 HP with pressures to 15 PSI. For each model, proper blower selection is made by carefully considering bearing life, % of max. pressure, speed, temperature rise, and noise level.
Motor nameplate HP is not exceeded even at relief valve settings. This leaves a 15% service factor for extra safety. All inlet and discharge losses of the filter, silencers and check valves are factored in the performance calculations.
Belt drives are designed for maximum belt life and minimum bearing load, with a service factor of 150 to 200 % used.
Attention to detail is evident when you look at the TT Series standard features. These include an air filter service gauge, lubricant level gauge, and synthetic gear lubricant suitable for all operating conditions.
